Jeff and Lance Waldroup, the father-son duo were former cast members of the hit discovery series moonshiners.
Despite being relatively popular cast members the two completely dropped out of the show after season seven and fans have been curious about them as in past nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary but recently we found out that Lance Walroup is no longer with us.
Lance Walroup unfortunately died at a very young age of around 30 years old on February 25th 2021. at his home in Robinson Ville, North Carolina according to his obituary posted by Townsend smith funeral home online.
Lance Walroup’s short obituary gave us a lot of information that we did not know about him it. He originally hails from Graham County but was currently the resident of Robersonville, North Carolina with the rest of his family.
he leaves behind a lot of family members and friends including both of his parents Jeff and Lynn Cape Walroup and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
However he joined several of his family members in the afterlife as well including his sister Lindsay Waldrop, his brother Lamar Walroup and all four of his grandparents from both sides.
The loved ones that precede him in death are a testament to his sad life. Lance Colby Walroup’s memorial service done at Cedar Cliff Baptist Church.
We still do not know the cause of lance’s death or any other details and it is likely that we never will, since the family would like to keep all of those facts private.
Jeff and Lance Walroup’s joint Facebook profile made that clear; when they announced the news via a post that read
“we have some sad news to share with all of our friends and fans my wife Lynn Cape Walroup and I want to share with all of you the passing of our son moonshiner Lance just a few days ago.”
The official Facebook page of moonshiners also confirmed the news and statement that read
“we are saddened to hear about the loss of Lance Walroup an adventurous distiller who was featured alongside his father throughout the early seasons of moonshiners, lance was always looking to take his flavorful recipes of shine to new heights, he will be sorely missed our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time”
The post concluded in the show Lance Walroup was famous ,who often messed up his tasks from failing to do a simple watch out from the law to ruining his father’s whole season’s absent sale, after not checking the average price of the product and selling it at thrice.
To going great he was a klutz while many people found it adorable funny or positively aggravated others were almost infuriated and not happy with having someone like lance on the show.
There is no confirming details about his death but online report indicate that he may have suffered from a Heart Attack and passed away.
