Ryan Thomas Gosling is the son of Thomas Gosling, a paper mill worker, and Donna Gosling, a secretary, both of Mormon beliefs.
He has an older sister named Mandi (born 1976).
In his teens he began appearing on television shows, such as the Mickey Mouse Club, and starring in commercials.
