Liam Neeson

Liam (William John) Neeson is a British actor, the son of a school guardian named Barney Neeson, now deceased, and Kitty Neeson, a former cook at a girls’ institute, both Catholics.

Liam worked at various trades before turning to acting, boxing as a teenager, during which time his nose was broken.

After giving up boxing, Neeson studied at Queens University Belfast with the intention of becoming a teacher, but abandoned this idea to study acting at the Gaiety School and work in theater in the 1970s, participating in the Belfast Lyric Players Theater. and at the Abbey Theater in Dublin.

Liam got his first major role in the cinema when he took part in Excalibur (1981), a film directed by John Boormanwho admired the actor’s talent after discovering him in the theater.

In 1994, Liam married actress Natasha Richardson (born 1963), the daughter of director Tony Richardson and actress vanessa redgrave with whom Neeson shared credits in the theater and in the film Nell.

Natasha and Liam had two sons named Michael Richard Antonio and Daniel Jack.
