With the debut of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever After looks like Kevin Feige has plans for a third film.
According to information from the Variety the head of Marvel Studios had some conversations with Ryan Coogler, director of the Black Panther films, about a possible third feature. Apparently, Coogler still doesn’t have an answer to this question:
I can definitively say that I have no idea what I’m doing next as a writer and director.
Kevin Feige in turn, revealed that the preference remains with the director, but that the story and characters must continue:
“I go back to what I said when we decided to make Wakanda Forever after losing Chad. That mythology and that ensemble and those characters deserve to continue and will continue after we are all gone, I hope, and will continue forever in movies the way it has in comics for over 50 years.
