Not all security of westeros was enough to keep the final episode of the house of dragon safe. Scheduled for this Sunday (23) at HBO, the chapter ended up leaking on the internet this Friday. The uproar was such that the channel itself spoke out, announcing measures against pirated copies.
In a statement to deadline an HBO spokesperson confirms the leak, and lamented the leak’s effect on fans’ experience.
In the text, it reads:
We are aware that the tenth episode of the house of dragon has been illegally posted on torrent sites. The copy appears to come from a partner distributor in the Middle East. HBO is aggressively monitoring the situation, and removing the copies from the internet. We’re disappointed that this action marred the experience for loyal fans of the series, who will be able to see the best version of the episode this Sunday, exclusively on HBO and HBO Max.
the house of the dragon has a plot situated almost 200 years before game of Thrones addressing, as always, the political dispute over the government of Westeros.
The first nine episodes of the season are streaming on HBO Max. The cast has Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Matt Smith and Rhys Ifans.
