After weeks of rumors, now official! Harrison Ford will be part of the Marvel universe. The Star Wars and Indiana Jones star is confirmed in the cast of Captain America: New World Order fourth film, scheduled for May 2024. Ford takes on the role of General and Secretary Ross, who was from William Hurt, passed away this year.
The new film will be Anthony Mackie’s first appearance as Captain America on the big screen, after taking on the hero identity in Falco and the Winter Soldier (2021). Danny Ramirez and Tim Blake Nelson are confirmed in the cast.
It is also quite possible that Harrison Ford will return for a second time in 2024 with Thunderbolts. Marvel’s Suicide Squad feature Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan and more.
Captain America: New World Order hits theaters in May 2024.
